PT Santomo Resources Indonesia (Head office: Jakarta; President Director: Tomoichi Yamaguchi; hereinafter “SRI”) and PT Santomo Green Power Management (Head office: Jakarta; President Director: Shuntaro Yamaguchi; hereinafter “SGPM”) presented our biomass and BaaS projects on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at a workshop which was held in Jakarta (Indonesia) and organized by JETRO Jakarta Office and Forum QHSE BUMN Konstruksi.
At the workshop, Rumi Hoshino, Manager of SRI, presented “Big prospect of biomass products in Indonesia” and Keisuke Tanase, Director of SGPM, presented “Battery Sharing Solution for Sustainable & Circular Smart City”.
In our biomass business, we export and domestically supply abundant palm residues generated in Indonesia such as PKS, EFB, OPT, etc. We also handle and develop products such as rice husk pellets, wood pellets, bagasse pellets, and other agricultural crop residues. In the BaaS business, we are expanding our efforts not only in the battery-swappable electric motorcycle business, but also in the used batteries using green electricity generated by solar power generation. We aim to provide one-stop solutions for a circular economy and a decarbonized society.
