PT Santomo Resources Indonesia (Head office: Jakarta; President Director: Tomoichi Yamaguchi), a subsidiary of Santomo Resources Corporation (Head office: Tokyo; President: Tomoichi Yamaguchi) has participated in Indonesia’s carbon credit market, “IDX Carbon (Indonesia Carbon Exchange).”
IDX Carbon is an official market for trading carbon credits supported by the Indonesian government, which plays a key role in promoting carbon offset trading between companies as part of efforts to combat global warming.
We have been developing renewable energy projects with the aim of advancing decarbonization in various regions of Indonesia. Participation in IDX Carbon marks a new step in leveraging the experience and know-how the company has built to create a larger impact in Indonesia and globally.
By generating, acquiring, and selling carbon credits through IDX Carbon in the projects currently underway and those to be developed in the future, we will strengthen collaborations with partner companies both in Indonesia and abroad, contributing to the mitigation of global warming.
