PT Santomo Green Power Management (Head office: Jakarta; President Director: Shuntaro Yamaguchi; hereinafter “SGPM”) has signed a MOU (memorandum of understanding) about electric motorcycles and a solar power system (hereinafter “SOLAR”) with University of Hasanuddin (hereinafter “UNHAS”), a leading university in East Indonesia (located in Makassar).
Main Cooperation
- Installation of Battery Swapping Stations (hereinafter BSS): BSS were set up on the UNHAS campus.
- Rental of electric motorcycles: the rental of electric motorcycles will be provided to UNHAS.
- Training for students: workshops and training sessions on electric motorcycles and SOLAR were held for UNHAS students.
- Discussions on the use of SOLAR for EV charging were held.
Through this MOU, SGPM will continue to contribute to the realization of a carbon neutral society by supplying environmentally friendly and cost-effective electric motorcycles and expanding the network of BSS.
